Vetsport

Hello :)

So here I am, updating again after so long. Life has been busy & my days were so hectic but nevertheless, all is good.

One thing I'm sure of, vetsport was really fun! At first I was rambling to my friend about my faculty not having sports day (I didn't know back then there'll be vetsport). And my friend was so full on himself & he started to make fun of vet students by saying things like "Well I'm not even surprised" & "Well you know how nerds like you guys don't play sports". Turned out he was utterly, completely, immensely WRONG! Haha! Even our event was way way way bigger than his. Look who's a loser now :P So basically, we had almost all kind of sports included in the event. It was only held on the weekends & it was an ongoing event for about a month. The event started with futsal game. I was volunteering for the night & it was a nice game. I couldn't quite remember the sequence but after that we had volleyball, netball, handball, basketball, chess, dart game, bowling, tug of war, and Frisbee. For the closing ceremony, we had sukaneka and also cheerleading competition! :D I joined netball, basketball, and the cheerleading team. I didn't get any place in netball & cheerleading but I got 3rd place for basketball (I didn't play much though :P). But I'll make sure that my netball team will get a place during the next vetsport :D

I learned so much & many friendships were built throughout this event. It was a memorable one and I would never say no to sports. I just love sports. Will be posting pictures later! Have a nice day! :)

I was playing GA at first but then I don't know the reason why, I vomited during our first match, and by the third or fourth match, I couldn't stand a lot of movements anymore, so I substituted place with the GS during our final match, and it was a mixed feeling between nauseated and nervousness as that was actually my first time being in that position!

This was taken after the match :)

This is our final formation lol.

Cruella De Vil and her Dalmatians.
This is our Frisbee team & they won first place. So proud of my coursemates :)

These last 4 photos were during the tug of war game. It was scorching hot but was one hell of a fun! I didn't join though. Was just cheering for my friends.

Dancing

Hello hi hii 😊

I've been meaning to update about my life here but oh well, I've been very very busy. Now that I have the time (since it's my midsem break) I'll try to blog as much as I can. Actually, my lecturers had provided me with a lot of course works that I have to finish by this one-week-holiday, but still, I haven't started yet, but it's okay. I'm planning to start this afternoon hehe. So last month was really challenging for me, trying to juggle between vet school and dancing practice. Yes, dancing practice. I wasn't much of a dancer before, & I think it's not too much to say that I can't dance at all. So I admit that to join the team is a rare decision and for someone who doesn't have the ability or the talent, it was a really tough job. As what Allison said, this drama is literally a result of blood, sweat, & tears. But I've decided to get out of my comfort zone by trying something new. Not that I've never joined any dancing competition before but it was quite big this time. We competed with other colleges. Even though the dancing team was just a part of the drama, it was something meaningful for me. Because by the end of the practice, I actually know how to dance! And I won't hesitate to join more activities after this. We didn't win but it doesn't matter. Winning isn't everything. It's about teamwork and the most important part is, I enjoyed every minute of it. I'll share some photos later because I'm just updating from my phone right now. Bye! 😃
We practiced here almost every night.
The dancers team but one was absent here.
